Kurtis B Downing

Kurtis B. Downing, age 33, of Sabina, passed after a lengthy illness on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Born on July 23, 1991, in Wilmington, he was the son of Robert and Tammy Spurlock Downing, who survive in Sabina.

Kurtis was a graduate of East Clinton.  He went on to work for Premier Feed in Melvin and Engine House Pizza in Sabina.  Kurtis was a member of a Lacrosse league in Wilmington. He loved sports and was a die-hard Cincinnati Bengals, Ohio State Buckeye and Cincinnati Reds fan.

In addition to his parents, Kurtis is survived by his brother, Robbie (Miranda) Downing; niece, Zoe Jane Downing; grandparents: Mary Collett, Larry (Kathy) Spurlock, and Mary Lou Downing; along with cousins: Christopher Gage Jarrell and Mary McKenna Jarrell.  Also left to cherish his memory are a host of aunts and uncles and extended family members.

Kurtis was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Downing and aunt, Ashley Slone Jarrell.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm.  A private graveside service, for family members, will follow at Sabina Cemetery.
