Landon Akers

Landon Akers, age 84, of Columbus, passed at Riverside Hospital on Thursday, August 19, 2021.

Born on October 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Dewey Sr. and Servia (Spurlock) Akers.

Landon was a Veteran of the United States Army, after having graduated from New Vienna High School.

Left to cherish his memory is sister, Jennie Greene; numerous nieces, nephews and their families, along with special friends, Mike and Karen Murnane.

In addition to his parents, Landon was preceded in death by siblings: Juanita Mase, James Akers, JP (Jake) Akers, Dewey Akers, Jr., and Paul Akers.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at Crown Pointe Care Center for their exceptional care and support of Landon.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11am at the New Vienna IOOF Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest near his parents.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
