Memorial Service: Saturday, January 23, 1:00 PM at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Wilmington
Lelah Belle Alden Wilson, age 95, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on November 21, 2015, at Cape May in Wilmington.
One of eleven children, Lelah Belle was born in Moulton, Iowa of October 15, 1920 and worked for several years at the Clinton County Auditors Office.
She married Carl Miller Alden on January 1, 1939, who proceeds her in death. She is survived by their children: Erick (Nancy) Alden of Westerville, OH; Errol (Judi) Alden of Marengo, IL; Gale (Ann) Alden of Loveland, OH; Carl Alden of Lawrenceburg, IN; Myron (Gretchen) Alden of Tacoma, WA; Priscilla (Paul) Powers of Plain City, OH; Maretta (Scott Saville) Alden of Sabina, OH. Also left to cherish her memory are 22 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren, along with a brother, Laverne Benz, and sister, Doris Culbertson.
Lelah Belle is also preceded in death by her second husband, Paul Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on January 23, 2016 at 1 pm at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Wilmington.
