Louise Cramer Kendall, 85, of Sabina, passed away on Friday evening, July 8, 2016, at Autumn Years Nursing Center.
Born November 1, 1930 near Bloomington, in Wilson Township, she was the daughter of Lester C. and Murl Clevenger Cramer.
Louise is survived by her husband, Alfred Kendall, whom she married August 29, 1949.
A 1948 graduate of Reesville High School, she attended cosmetology school in Cincinnati. Louise was a homemaker and a hairdresser at Ruth Zimmerman’s Beauty Shop and worked at Sabina Library for 10 years. She was a member of the Sabina Senior Citizens, Sabina Historical Society, Farm Bureau and the Antique Power Club. Louise was also a former member of the Rebecca Lodge.
She is also survived by her children, Regina (Milton) Vandervort of Wilmington, Rick and Ronald K. (Vicki) Kendall of Sabina. Three grandchildren, Chad, Chris and Scott Hamilton. Also left to cherish her memory are great grandchildren Bryce, Brenton, Brooklyn and Gage Hamilton; brother, Clarence Cramer of Sabina, and sister in laws, Albertine Cramer, Dorothy Taylor, Peggy Kendall and Phyrne Kendall.
Louise was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Eugene “Cotton” Cramer, sister in law, Freda Cramer and a great grandson, Braden Hamilton.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday at the Littleton Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Friends may call from Noon until the time of service. Burial to follow in the Sabina Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Care Hospice or the Autumn Years Activity Fund.
