Marcia G. McPherson

Marcia G. McPherson, age 68, of Sabina, passed peacefully Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Born in Washington Court House on November 2, 1957, she was the daughter of the late William ‘Bill’ and Donna (Pinkerton) Drake.

Marcia is survived by her husband of 42 years, Brian McPherson.

A graduate of East Clinton, Marcia worked in various jobs. For over 16 years, she worked at Westside in Sabina; previously she was employed at Westech and Huhtamaki, and spent the last 5 years at Amazon.

Marcia enjoyed being outside, tending to her yard, and piddling around. She was readily available to help anyone in need and absolutely loved being with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by daughters: Carla Jean Drake and Debra Olwin; brother, James Drake; and brother in-law, Roger Dodd.

Marcia is survived by her beloved husband, Brian; her daughter, Sherrie Kidder of Sabina; grandchildren: Logan Davis of Wilmington, Arisa (Randy) Young of Martinsville, Alex (Trish) Spears of Columbus, Hayley Kidder of Sabina, Andrea Spears of Washington Court House, and Austin (Trinity) Arellano; along with greatgrandchildren: Bentley, Oaklynn and Kaden.

Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Rita Dodd of Dayton, Rick (Phyllis) Drake of Latham, Kevin (Bobbie) Drake of Colorado, Don (Joy) Drake of Sabina, Lisa (Harold) Camp of Sabina, and Terry (Karen) Drake of Florida; sister in-law, Jan Drake; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held later. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Clinton Memory Garden, Wilmington. Littleton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
