Marilyn Sue Haines

Marilyn Sue Haines, 87, of Sabina, passed away on Saturday June 13, 2026, at Cooper Knoll Nursing Center in Washington C.H. 

Born October 1, 1938, in East Monroe, the daughter of Herbert and Hazel Powell Cox.

she is survived by her husband Edward T. Haines III, who she was married to for 40 years.

Sue had retired from Autumn Years after serveral years.  She enjoyed music, being a singer and playing base in her family's band.

She is survived by her children; Doug Self of Cincinnati, Kent Self of Peebles, Rhonda Self of Greenfield Sandy Crabtree of Lucasville, John Rodgers of PA and Bobby Rodgers of Washington C.H. and 4 grandchildren.

she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sonya Rodgers and son Tony Cochrell, also 1 grandchild and her brothers, Herb and Larry Cox.

In following Sue's wishes, she will be cremated ad buried in Sabina Cemetery.  There will be no services.
