Marjorie Bowermeister Liming, 92, of Wilmington, formerly of the Bowersville/Jamestown area, died Thursday evening at Clinton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Marjorie was born December 17, 1923, in Bowersville, the daughter of Karl and Mary Bowermeister. She attended school in Bowersville through the tenth grade, completing high school and graduating with Silver Creek (Jamestown) high school class of 1941.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on April 25, 1989 by her husband, Archie M. Liming, to whom she was married June 2, 1943. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Juanita Bowermeister, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charles and Frieda Thompson and Cles and Juanita Monson. Also, preceding in death were brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Essel and Georgia Liming, Ervin and Mary Jane Liming, Kenneth Liming, Donn and Lorene Duke, Allen and Louise Dalton, and Art Newell.
Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Barbara (David) Lieurance and Karen (Rick, dec.) Spivey, four grandchildren, Shane (Amanda) Lieurance, Joe (LaCosta) Spivey, Jim (Julie) Spivey, and Kristina (Brent) Knipp, great grandchildren, Debbie (Aaron) McElory, Hunter and Macy Spivey, Katie and Logan Knipp, Jacob and Jackson Spivey and one great-great grandson, Tarren McElroy, brothers and sisters-in-law, Linley and Sherrie Liming, Dennis and Connie Liming, Mary Newell, and Micki Haws, many nephews and nieces, and her loving great-grand dog Piper.
Following the death of her husband and her move to Wilmington, Marjorie was a first grade teachers’ volunteer at Holmes elementary school for over ten years, a position she loved and for which she was personally recognized by then Ohio Governor Bob Taft. Marjorie was a long-time member of the Kentucky Avenue (Wilmington) Church of Christ.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 2pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowersville.
