Marsha L. Mitchell

Marsha L. Mitchell, 66, of Wilmington passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday June 8, 2026.

She was born on February 11, 1960, in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Barbara Jean Garringer Mitchell and Wayne (Barbara) Mitchell.

After high school, Marsha worked as an STNA for many years and enjoyed crafting, yard selling, eating out and her time with all of her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Mitchell, Amber (Wes Greene) Mitchell and Casey (Jason) Lilly.  Grandchildren, Sierra Thompson, Paige and Kelsi Lilly, Kaydence Thomas, Peyton Lilly, Quiton and Cameron Slone, Josie Slone, Maci Lilly Owen Thomas, Noah Greene and Laila Greene.

Greatgrandchildren, Braxton Forste and Sebastian and Sofia French. Siblings, Michelle (Kenny) Burdette and Patrick Hackett.

Marsha is preceded by the love of her life, Larry Newland and a stepbrother Michael "Loy" Farquar.

Visitation will be on Thursday June 11, 2026, at the Littleton Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Sabina Cemetery.
