Mary Lou Fisher, 83, of Wilmington, and a long time resident of Lees Creek, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 12, 2017 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
Born July 13, 1933 in Martinsville, the daughter of Ed and Pauline Summers Mullenix.
She attended Simon Kenton until her senior year where she graduated from Martinsville in 1951. Mary Lou had attended Wright State and Miami Jacobs Business College. She retired from Wilmington Iron and Metal after many years as the office manager. Mary Lou was also the owner and operator of Fisher Tax Service. She loved the farming life, which she did for many years, and enjoyed all of her animals, great and small.
Mary Lou is survived by her children, Julie (Bill) Knox of Leesburg and Bob (Cheryl) Fisher of New Vienna. Also surviving are grandchildren: Jamie Clark, Jennie (Jason) Pierson, Matt Fisher, Kait Esselman and Brody Fisher; four great-grandchildren; and siblings: Shirley Long, and Ed and Mike Mullenix.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by a sister, Pixie Riggs.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the New Antioch Cemetery.
