Mary Lou Yahr passed away Sept. 24, 2017 at age 83. She fought a valiant fight to recover from a stroke.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice “Barney” and Lorene Sollars, and her son, Doug Haines.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Gordon Yahr; brother, Roger Sollars (Carolyn); daughters, Debbie Beemer (Larry) and Mary Jo Yarano (Ron); stepdaughter, Lisa Kelly (Sean Sr.); and stepson, Tim Yahr. Mary Lou is also survived by nephew, Greg; granddaughters, Holli (Darrell), Sarah, Kate, and Megan; as well as grandsons, Steven, Matthew, and Sean Michael; great grandsons, Gary, Chris, Christian, Gabriel, and Orion; great-granddaughter, Zoe; great-great grandson Maeson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a light to those around her and taught us all what it means to live with both compassion and love in our hearts. Everyone who met her loved her. We will all miss Mom, Grandma,“GG”, “Mar Nu” so incredibly much.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, on Saturday Oct. 21, 2017, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial at White Oak Cemetery will immediately follow.
