Pamela Jean Gibson, age 73, of Wilmington, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, October 11, 2020.
Born near Williamsburg, Ohio, on June 11, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Etheline Clark.
Pam was a 1965 Simon Kenton graduate. She retired from FERNO Washington, where she worked as a sales rep. Pam was a member of the Richland United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Order of the Eastern Star. Pam enjoyed shopping but was happiest spending time with her daughters and their families.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Gibson, Jr. The two were united in marriage on June 18, 1965.
In addition to her husband, Pam is survived by their daughters, Rhonda (Tony) Wilson and Jennifer (Tod) Adkins, all of Wilmington. Also left to cherish her memory are grandsons: Michael Wilson, stationed in Japan, Connor (Amanda Bennett) Wilson of Wilmington, Bradley Davis of Jamestown, Brice (Emma) Davis and Brandon Davis, all of Wilmington; a great grandchild due in March; step-grandchildren: Amanda (Tyler) Lovedahl of Hillsboro, Samantha (Shane) Hughes and Seth Adkins, all of Wilmington; step-great grandchildren: Katie, Kaleb, Levi, Owen and Macklin Hughes; sister, Peggy (Lawrence) Anderson; brother, James (Debbie) Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Davis; sisters, Linda and Brenda Clark; and brother, Buster Clark.
According to her wishes, Mrs. Gibson will be cremated. There are no services scheduled. A private gathering, at the convenience of the family, will be held at a later date. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with assisting the Gibson family.
