Patricia A. 'Patty' Spurlock

Patricia A. Spurlock, age 89, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, surrounded by her children.

Born on January 27, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William Russell and Myrtle Alma Flint Roberds.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Estel ‘Ace’ Spurlock.

A 1955 graduate of Sabina High School, Patty was the Prom Queen in her senior year. She worked at Allied Tech and, later, West Side Carry Out in Sabina. Patty’s interests included cooking, canning, and raising children. With Ace, the two always had a home full of ‘bonus grandkids’ who they babysat and adored.

Patty is survived by children: Rae Lynn (Jim) Howard of Latham, Neal Spurlock, Wade Spurlock, and Lance Spurlock, all of Wilmington. Also left to cherish her memory are seven beloved grandchildren, along with numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished.

In addition to her husband, Patty was preceded in death by their daughter, Lori Ann Warnock; granddaughter, Anisa Brooke Warnock; great-grandson, Landon Spurlock; and her brother, James Roberds.

Visitation will be held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 4-6pm. Private burial at Sabina Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
