Penny Jo Aldridge, 68, of Grove City passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Mount Carmel Hospital.
Born on February 25, 1957, to Harold and Patricia Baker of Findlay, Ohio; Penny is survived by her husband of 22 years, David Aldridge. Also, left to cherish her memory are a brother Doug (Stacy) Baker; daughters Brandy (Cliff) Coonrod Bowen, Shelly Coonrod, Tori (Karl) Kean; grandchildren, Kaila (Chad) Hartley, Abbie Bowen, Issac Bowen, and Rowan Kean-Duane; great-granddaughter Maggie Hartley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Lori Aldridge, Tony and Bev Harper; nephews and nieces, Dan Aldridge, Ellen Aldridge, Andy (Courtney) Harper, Tanner Harper, and Reese Harper, Austin (Michelle) Baker, Lance Baker, Tyler Baker and Alex Baker.
Penny was a kind-hearted person who loved helping others. She worked as a volunteer medic for fund-raising events, taught preschool, performed customer service, and never turned away an animal in need. She was creative throughout her life writing poetry, tatting lace, sewing clothes and quilts, decorating big for Halloween and Christmas and many other creative pursuits.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, Ohio from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with services immediately following. Burial will follow at Greenfield Cemetery.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, please donate to your favorite animal charity or rescue in remembrance of Penny. She will be greatly missed by her dog, Franklin, and her cats, Virginia, Cisco, Fancy, and Vincent.
