Phillip A. Stewart

Philip A. Stewart, 71, of Wilmington, went to Heaven on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Hospice of Warren-Butler County.

Born June 21, 1953, the son of H. Leroy and Joanne LaValle Stewart.

He was a graduate of East Clinton High School, retired from Ferno-Washington, and a long-time member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington.

Phil is survived by his niece Jennifer Mediros, her children Katelynn and Neil, his cousin Debbie (Bruce) Crosby, and good friend Everett (Karen) Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert, his aunts Betty, Lois, and Doris, and uncles Gordon, Verlin, and Robert.

Visitation will be held at Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 10 AM until noon. Funeral service will begin at noon with Pastor Josh Dixon officiating.  Burial will follow at the Westboro Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Bible Baptist Church Building Fund.
