Ramona G. Cox

Ramona Grace (Beegle) Cox, 96, of Carmel, Indiana (formerly of Wilmington), passed peacefully on March 19, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indiana. She was born in Racine, Ohio, on August 30, 1929, and was the daughter of Reverend Ray W. and Mary Wilson Beegle.

Ramona was preceded in death by her “one and only” sweetheart, Frank A. Cox, in 2008. They were married on February 25, 1951, and shared 57 years of marriage.

She attended Wilmington High School and later worked at the G.C. Murphy Company where she ran the personnel department. In 1968, she and Frank began a new journey together when they founded Cox Printing Company. Their love for each other made working side by side each day something they enjoyed and treasured. In 1959, they organized the Glorylanders Quartet and traveled as song evangelists across four states, recording seven albums.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeri (Dan) Ventling of Carmel, Indiana, and Pam (Andy) Olds of Oregonia; five grandchildren, Amber (Ryan) Skipper, Christie (Caleb) Wright, Brandon (Jenni-Rae) Ventling, Tyler (Jennifer) Olds, and Michael Olds. Also left to cherish Ramona’s memory are 11 great-grandchildren: Kaylee Olds; Audrey and Hailey Skipper; Gabriel, Haven-Rae, Willem, Lennon, and Cohen Ventling; and Judah, Jovie, and Pippa Wright.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Beegle.

A special note of thanks to all of the amazing nurses and hospital staff at St. Vincents.

In keeping with her wishes, a private graveside ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.
