Raymond D. Buzzard

Raymond D. Buzzard, age 71, of Washington Court House, passed away at Adena Fayette Medical Center, on Monday, January 10, 2022.

Born in Washington, DC, on October 14, 1950, he was the tenth child of the late Robert, Sr. and Ruth (Creamer) Buzzard.

Raymond is survived by his partner of over 40 years, Linda Jarrell.

A Washington Court House High School graduate, he went on to serve in the United States Navy.  Following his service, Raymond worked at Mac Tools and then, in security, for Madison County Correctional Facilities for 18 years.  Raymond loved to watch television: westerns, cop shows, wrestling and football were among his favorite programs.  He loved rock and roll and southern rock music, his all-time favorite was The Beatles.

Raymond is survived by his children: Heather (Mike) Ruh of Greenfield, Gregg Buzzard, Dustin Buzzard and Devin Buzzard, all of Washington Court House, and Angie Lankford of Sabina.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren, Arianna and Braxtyn; brother, Robert Buzzard, Jr; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by siblings: Garnet, Arthur, Bill, Doris, Don, Nelson, Jerry and Linda.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 11am – 12:30pm, when a funeral service will begin.
