Rebecca 'Becky' (Shiltz) Hiser

Rebecca Shiltz Hiser, age 63 of Washington Court House Ohio, passed away peacefully at Adena Regional Medical Center on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Born on October 13, 1960, in Washington Court House. She was the daughter of Carl and Virginia “Jenny” (Roberts) Shiltz.

Becky was proceeded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert Wayne Hiser who passed on April 4, 2019.

A Washington High School graduate, Becky went on to attend Southern State where she earned an associate’s degree in nursing.  For many years Becky worked for Bundy TI Automotive where she was a dedicated employee and gained many lifelong friends after the factory closed.

She was the happiest spending time with her husband and grandkids. Becky enjoyed the holidays with family. Some of her favorite times were the annual Easter Egg hunt and Trick or Treat night with the grandkids in Milledgeville. She loved hosting the Thanksgiving dinner, baking & decorating Christmas cookies with the grandkids.

She loved socializing, visits with friends and attending church as a true prayer warrior for anyone in need.

Becky was survived by her sister Lori (John) King of Frankfort, her children Christopher Hiser, Tiffeny (Brock) Kirkpatrick and Jennifer (Jared) Chester.  Also left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren:  Harley Jo, Brantlee & Branson Hiser, Zeller Kirkpatrick and Kasyn & Maci Ann Chester; several nieces and nephews, cousins and her extended Hiser family.

In addition to her husband, Becky was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Geneva Ann O’Dell.

Please join us for a graveside service held for all family and friends at Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10:00am.  All are welcome to join following the service, where there will be a “Celebration of Life” held at the America Legion Post 25 in Washington Court House.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
