Richard 'Tweety' Ford

Richard E. “Tweety” Ford, age 71, of Sabina, passed away on Sunday evening, May 26, 2024, at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

Born December 26, 1952, he was the son of the late Nona Brown Ford and Donald “Rip” Ford.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ford.

Tweety was a graduate of East Clinton High School, had worked for Stewart Electric for several years and then retired from Airborne, having worked in both maintenance dept and security. He loved working on anything that had an engine and also enjoyed race cars, dirt bikes and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children: Darren Ford of Greenfield, Clayton Ford of Sabina and Jeremy (Amber) Blair of Greenfield. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Lane Ford, Larrick Shorten, Jaxon and Jacoby Blair; siblings: Donald “Chip” Ford, Mike Ford, Roger Crabtree and Rhonda Winterbotham; sisters and brothers in-law, Carol and Kevin Dement and Becky Stirr; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded by a sister, Barbara, and brother-in-law, Jake Stirr.

There will be no services. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina is in charge of arrangements.
