Robert J. Bills

Robert J. Bills, age 89, of Wilmington, passed on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Born in Morrow, Ohio, on March 2, 1936, he was the son of John L. and Audrey A. Bills.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lou Wells Bills, after 62 years of marriage, on August 15, 2017.

Robert was a Jefferson High School graduate. Growing up and in his young adulthood, Bob worked on the farm, he then went on to serve in the United States Army for over 20 years. During his retirement, Bob held various jobs: he was a real estate agent, an armed guard in Kissing Camels and worked in the pet department at Walmart. Working in his yard and gardening were Robert’s favorite hobbies. He was a member of the Wilmington Church of God.

Left to cherish his memory are son and daughter in-law, Robert Lee and Pam Bills of Wilmington; along with siblings: Russell, John Jr., and Helen Faye; and sisters in-law, Connie Bills and Deanna Wells Binegar.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond and Roger.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10-11am, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Westboro IOOF Cemetery.
