Robert W. Caldwell

Robert W. Caldwell, age 98, of Wilmington, passed away at Cape May on Thursday evening, December 21, 2023.

Born in Highland County, May 26, 1925, the son of Harold and Elizabeth Dodds Caldwell.

He is survived by his wife Beverly.

Bob was a graduate of Samantha High School then went into the Marines during WWII. He had retired from Cincinnati Milacron and was a 61-year member of Post 49. He was also a member of the Wilmington Masonic Lodge and had served on the Veterans Benefit Board for many years and was a member of the Marine Corps League.

Bob is also survived by his sons: Ron (Shirley), Randy (Cindy) and Rob (Barb) Caldwell. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Angie Williams, Jonathon Caldwell, Katie Kisling, Joshua Caldwell. Christopher Caldwell., Andy Caldwell, Amy Lamb and Ann Hinkle; 17 great grandchildren and 7 great- great grandchildren.

He was preceded by a brother, Dean and a niece Sheila Parshall.

Friends may call on Saturday December 30, 2023 at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, from Noon until the service time at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.
