Robert Lee Carl, Sr., age 78, of Washington Court House, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Adena Memorial Hospital in Chillicothe.
Born October 12, 1947, in Brown County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Minnie M. (Wagner) Carl.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa A. (Tillis) Carl on May 23, 2017.
A Sabina High School graduate, Bob was a life-long farmer. He very much enjoyed attending farm toy shows and watching tractor pulls.
Bob is survived by sons: Robert L. ‘Rob’ Carl, Jr. and Terry (Diane) Carl, both of Washington Court House. Also left to cherish his memory is sister, Stella Earley; brother in-law, Harry Tillis; and Sophia Carl, Chris and Amy Taylor and family and Robert and Heather Kaelbli and family.
In addition to his wife, Robert was preceded in death by siblings: William Carl, Martha Mae Dawson and Richard Carl.
A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
