Robert D. Baker

Robert Donovan Baker, age 82, of Sabina, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Greene County, Ohio, May 25, 1941, the son of the late Fred G. and Ada M. Baker.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth M. Merriman, on December 11, 2007.

He worked as a plant supervisor and in various roles at Mac Tool in both Sabina and Washington Court House.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons: Dwayne Baker of Sabina and Blake (Teresa) Baker of New Vienna; grandchildren: Bethann (Justin) Davidson, Brett McMillan, Kwaid Baker and Lane Baker; great grandchildren: Beau, Casey, Crosley and Tripp.

In addition to his wife, Bob was preceded in death by an infant brother, Franklin, and sisters: Pulmeta Cline, Donna Scott, Marlene Baxter, Nancy Parkison, and Caren ‘Sue’ Bell.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 4-6pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.  At the convenience of the family, burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William.
