Robert J. Shaw

Robert J. Shaw, age 72, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Wilmington Nursing and Rehab.

Born in Greene County on August 18, 1954, he was the son of the late Aquila Ira ‘Scotty’ Shaw and Doris Marie Conkle Shaw.

Bob was a Xenia High School graduate and went on to work as a team truck driver. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to fish and hunt. To others, Bob was known as “Tattooed Jesus” because he kept his hair long for his entire adult life.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved sister and brother in-law, Catherine and James Willison of Wilmington; his dear brother and sister in-law, William and Cindy Shaw, also of Wilmington; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by siblings: Sharon Davidson, Garry Lee Shaw, Richard R. Shaw, and Grace Paula Shaw.

A memorial service will take place at the New Life Apostolic Church in Reesville. Service date and time will be announced. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
