Robert K. Kessler

Robert ‘Bobby’ Kessler, age 78, of Sabina, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Born Dayton on October 31, 1946, he was the son of the late George E. and Inez ‘Ross’ Kessler.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Susan ‘Susie’ J. Harrison Kessler, on April 2, 2022.

After his high school graduation, Bobby served in the United States Air Force.  He went on join the IBEW Local 71, where he worked as an operator and retired as a foreman.  Bobby enjoyed hunting, woodworking, drag racing and building engines.

Bobby is survived by his brothers: Jerry (Patty) Kessler, Steve (Melissa Roberts) Kessler, and Clyde (Crystal) Kessler, and sister, Julie Sheets.  Also left to cherish his memory are a host of beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Bobby was preceded in death by their daughters: Melissa Sue and Bobbie Jo; and siblings: Brenda, Darla and Lisa Kessler, Christine Huff, and George ‘Bill’ Kessler.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Littleton Funeral Home from 11am – 1pm, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial will follow at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville.
