Robert L. Surface

Robert L. Surface, age 90, of Wilmington, passed on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Four Seasons in Washington Court House.

Born in Dayton on October 9, 1927, he was the only child of the late Stanley and Edna Banta Surface.

Bob attended Center Church.  An Army Veteran, he served as a tank commander for the 3rd Armored Division.  Bob was a retired farmer, a former Wilson Township Trustee, and also retired, doing medical delivery, from Prestige.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Karole Ann and son, Larry Arehart.

Bob is survived by a daughter, Cynthia (Darrell) Culberson of Martinsville.  Also left to cherish his memory are granddaughters: Darelle (Michael) Beam, Danitra Brown, and Dericka Culberson; along with great-grandchildren: Caydence Beam , Faith Brown, Khloe Beam, and Kayla Beam.

Family will receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 5-7pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral will take place at 10am on Saturday.  Burial to follow at Springboro Cemetery.
