Robert Leon Gorman, age 86, of Washington Court House, and formerly of Greenfield, passed away at the Ohio State University Wexner Center on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Born in Xenia on August 7, 1938, he was the son of Ammon and Edna Mae ‘Shoemaker’ Gorman.
Leon was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Sheila ‘Davis’ Gorman, in 2018.
After serving in the United States Army and Reserves, Leon worked in landscaping, farming and for the Fayette County Engineer. He loved fishing, especially in Canada, and, in his later years, enjoyed his morning breakfast “meetings” at McDonalds.
Leon is survived by sons: Robert Shawn Gorman, William Edward (Becky) Gorman, James Herman (Kari) Gorman and John Ammon (Shelly) Gorman. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Eli Wayne Gorman, William Zachery Wolfe, Ann Marie Wolfe, Nathan Gorman and Angel Jones; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10am until the time of service at 12 Noon. Burial to follow at Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery.
