Robyn R. Marconet

Robyn R. Marconet, age 71, of Wilmington, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Monday evening, October 19, 2026.

She was born in Wilmington on June 16, 1955, the daughter of the late Ruby Shaffer Brunn.  

Robyn is survived by her husband, Michael Marconet.  The two spent 49 wonderful years together.  

A graduate of Wilmington High School, she had retired from the Nike Center and Greene County MRDD as operational manger.  She loved working on puzzles and loved her kids and grandkids beyond measure.  

Robyn was "loved by many, a stranger to none and will always have an eye on her special group of girls".

In addition to her husband, Robyn is survived by their children:  Samantha (Shannon O'Dell) Marconet and Dustin (Annie) Marconet.  Also left to cherish her memory are her beloved grandchildren: Aidan Marconet, Kenzie O'Dell and Kayla O'Dell.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Becky VanPelt, along with her mother and father-in-law, Hilda "Hoodie" and Gene Marconet and a brother-in-law, Steve Marconet.

At Robyn's request, there will be no services.
