Ronald R. Rockhold

Ronald R. Rockhold, age 80, of Sabina, passed peacefully at Clinton Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

Born in New Vienna on January 7, 1941, the son of the late William R. and Elizabeth A. (Shonkwiler) Rockhold.

Ronald is survived by his devoted wife, Susan A. Granger Rockhold.  The two had been married nearly 60 years.

In 1958, Ronald graduated from Fairfield High School in Leesburg.  He joined the Ohio National Guard and served for six years.  The lifelong farmer was a member of the Ohio Corn Growers and the Ohio Soybean Association.  Ronald served on the Concord-Greene Township Fire Department for 49 years, before his retirement in 2007.  He was also instrumental in forming the Concord Township Zoning Board of Appeals in 1958.

In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by their son, William Granger (Ann) Rockhold of Dublin; and granddaughter, Kati Fuller.

Memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated to Fayette County Hospice.

There will be no services.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
