Rosemary Storer Hoffer, 92, of the Wilmington, Ohio area, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2026. She most recently resided at Quaker Heights in Waynesville, Ohio.

Rosemary was the beloved wife of Russell Hoffer, with whom she shared 74 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with countless memories. Their 74 years together were a testament to a lasting partnership.

Rosemary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Hoffer; her children, Dwan Sandlin (Rick) of Clarksville, Ohio; Karen Gano (Richard Nicholson) of Hartford, Connecticut; and Steve Hoffer (Caryl) of Clarksville, Ohio. She was a proud grandmother to Jennifer Wood (Danny), James Hoffer, Nick Sandlin (Tifaney) and Wesley Sandlin (Traci), and a cherished great-grandmother to Jakob, Jackson, Jared, Caleb, Andrew, Lacie, Alyssa, Cora, and Penny.

Rosemary was a longtime member of the Sharon Methodist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. One of her dear friends lovingly described her as a “prayer warrior,” a fitting reflection of the strength of her faith and the care she had for others. She was also a member of the Fun Bunch, a women’s group that brought her friendship and fellowship.

Rosemary had a lifelong passion for antiques. She turned that passion into a business that she owned and operated for many years, sharing her love and appreciation for antiques with others. Her interests, friendships, and faith were woven into a life centered around the people she loved.

In addition to her parents, Ray and Addie Storer, Rosemary was preceded in death by her sisters, Eulilah and Sue, and her brother, Jim.

Rosemary leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, family, friendship, and countless memories that will be treasured by those who knew her. Her family will remember her not only for the things she loved, but for the love and prayers she so freely gave to others.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Sharon United Methodist Church, 5181 OH-380, Wilmington, OH 45177.
