Russell F. Glenister

Russell F. Glenister, age 79, of Sabina, passed peacefully at Copper Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Born in Melbourne, Australia on September 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Phyllis Owens Glenister.

After graduating from Williamstown High School, Russ worked as an electrical lineman and was an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and was an AC-DC fan. He enjoyed watching cricket, boxing, and football, Australian rules, of course!

Russ is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cindy Sindle Glenister.

Also surviving are children: Nicole Glenister, Steven Glenister, Tahlia Glenister, Fred (Sonya) Pruitt, and Mandy (Steve) Todd; grandchildren: Jaden, Chrystal, Bailey, Skye, Hayley, Wade, Bailey and Ashton; along with great-grandchildren, Calvin and Hayes; and sister, Carol (John) Runciman.

A graveside service will take place at 2pm on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina has been entrusted with arrangements.
