Sandra Kay (Flint) Brewer

Sandra Kay Brewer, age 61, passed peacefully at her Sabina home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

She was born on August 14, 1960, and was the daughter of the late Earl L. and Nellie Mae (Tolle) Flint.

Sandy attended Southern State Community College and Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree.  She worked at The Azek Company (Timbertech) in Jeffersonville.  Sandy was happiest spending time with her beloved family, both blood and bonus relation.  She enjoyed crafting, reading, and watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies.

Sandy is survived by her daughters: Kimberlee Jacobs and her husband, Stephen, of Sabina and Becca Brewer and her boyfriend, Joe, of Wilmington; bonus-child, Vickie Boyd and her husband, Keith; Sandy’s special “little ducklings”; grandchildren: Savanna Boyd, Sophie Lowe, and Dawson Akers; bonus-grandchildren: Clayton Jacobs, Zackary Jacobs, Autum Lowe, Malachi Lowe, and bonus-great granddaughter, Luna Wilson.  Also left to cherish her memory are her beloved siblings: Mark Flint, Robyn (Jerry) Newman, Dean (Brenda) Johnson and Annabelle Simpson; along with several nieces and nephews; and former husband, Chuck Brewer.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, William Bradley Akers; her sister, Diana Stephan; and Kim and Brad’s father, William Akers.

A visitation of friends and family will take place at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 11am-1pm, followed by a graveside service at Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek at 1:30pm.
