Sue A. Wilson

Sue A. Wilson, age 87, of Sabina, passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.

Born in Indian Head, Maryland, on July 24, 1939, she was the daughter of Ernest and Sue Rowe Smith.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Harold Wilson, on November 6, 2023.

A Sabina High School graduate, Sue worked at Village Vanity and helped those in mental health crisis with life skills at Tuke in Wilmington. The best years of her life were spent raising her beloved children and being a devoted homemaker.

Sue enjoyed collecting dolls and Fenton Glass. She liked attending Country at the COVE and Jake’s Country Jam, and traveling with the local Sabina Seniors. Creative and crafty, Sue found joy in crocheting and cake decorating. She was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Susan Wilson and Dean Wilson, both of Sabina, and her sister, Connie Potts of Leesburg.

In addition to Harold, Sue was preceded in death by their son, Brian Wilson; and siblings: Elaine Colella and Robert ‘Bunkie’ Smith.

A graveside service will be held at Sabina Cemetery at Noon on Friday, October 30, 2026. A Celebration of Sue’s life will take place at a later date. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
