Susan Dawson

Susan Dawson, age 62, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday February 18, 2026, in Doctors Hospital, Columbus.

Born in Xenia, the daughter of Paul Adams and the late Geogine Adams.

Susan is survived by her husband, Ronald Dawson Sr. 

Being a child of military parents, she had graduated high school in Germany.  Susan then married and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Susan loved Disney, wrestling, music, watching movies and tv shows.  She loved cooking, baking, family activities and gatherings, and being outdoors.  Susan was always full of laughter, joy, and happiness.  She was a happy, spontaneous, outgoing, and adventurous woman with a heart of gold filled with a lot of love.  

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children; Robin (Krieg Butler Sr.) Dawson, Rebecca (Steven Sr.) Saylor and Ronald Allen Dawson Jr.  Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren; Krieg Jr., Katlynn, Kelsey, Kileb, Kyle, Kolman, Kristopher, Kristy, Kaden, Keagan, Matthew, Ashley, Serenity, Isabella, Steven, Jr. and Leroy; a brother, Tom Adams, and her mother and father-in-law, Roger and Ruth Dawson of Sabina.

A graveside service will be on Monday April 20, 2026, at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville.  Time to be announced.
