Thomas Clayton Terrell

Thomas Clayton Terrell, age 73, of New Vienna, passed away Saturday April 12, 2025, at Clinton Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born March 4, 1952, in Wilmington.  He was the son of the late Robert C. and Margaret Hinshaw Terrell.

Tom was a lifetime farmer which brought him great pride and joy. He was a graduate of East Clinton High School and continued his studies at The Ohio State University, earning a degree in agronomy.

Tom was an active birthright Quaker and attended Fairview Friends Meeting.   He was also an active member of the New Vienna Lions Club and served several terms on both the East Clinton and Great Oaks School Boards.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Julie Uschkrat Terrell; as well as his eldest son Timothy and his wife Darlene, his daughter Katie and her husband Jason, and his youngest son Matthew and his wife Jennifer. His pride and joy are his six grandchildren: Kasen, Tessa, Kaylee, Tysen, Kenzi and Riley. He loved being with them as much as possible, attending their sporting events whenever possible, including track, volleyball, band gymnastics, flag corps, FFA and more. Tom is also survived by three siblings: his older sisters Carol with husband Barney Yeager and Patricia Terrell; and his younger brother Charlie with his wife Pam.

Tom will be deeply missed by his family, friends and his community. His gentle spirit and strong work ethic will never be forgotten. Tom was always loving and kind to all, especially his wife Julie. He will be in her heart forever.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Vienna Lions Club or Fairview Friends Meeting.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Fairview Friends Meeting (6796 Antioch Rd. New Vienna) from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. followed immediately by a memorial service.  Burial will take place at Centerville (Lees Creek) Cemetery. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina is in charge of arrangements.
