Vera J. Jones, 86, of Jamestown, passed away Friday evening April 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born April 5, 1930 the daughter of Marvin and Mae Hoover Daughtrey, she is survived by her husband Marvin “Curly” Jones whom she married June 6, 1949.
She had retired from Kroger and Pottery Barn.
She is also survived by her children, Bonnie (Jon) Creamer of Washington C.H., Brenda (Bob) Merritt of Jeffersonville and Barry (Cheryl) Jones of Lexington OH. Grandchildren, Krista, Jon, Amy, Jason, Dawn and Mindy. Great grandchildren, Devin, Brooklyn, Wesley, Cody, Alec, Mikayla, Evan, Keeley, McKenna and Addison. She is also survived by her sister Sara Jane (Dale) Noes of Sarasota Florida.
She was preceded by siblings, Charles, Virginia Mae, Betty Nell Bone and Paul Daughtrey.
A memorial service will be on Wednesday at 4:00 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Friends may call a half hour before the service.
Burial will be at a later date in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville.
