Verda M. Muladore

September 8, 1947 — July 20, 2024

Wilmington

Verda Marie (Baker) Muladore, of Wilmington, passed away in Urbana, Ohio on Saturday, July 20, 2024, under hospice care at Hearth and Home of Urbana, after a long illness.  She was born on September 8, 1947.

Verda was a loving, creative & hard-working woman. She loved her family and was always there for them. If you knew Verda, she loved her frogs and animals, especially dogs; this was from an early age and continued throughout her life. She would collect frogs from all over. She always had a dog for a companion. She was very creative and loved to crochet, sew and make handmade cards for her loved ones.  Verda also spoke her mind -- you never had to wonder what she was thinking!  She would tell you!  She always told her children don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.

Verda worked various jobs throughout her life. She didn’t hesitate to try a new job if it meant taking care of her family. She retired from Wilmington College where she worked as custodian.

Verda is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Harold (Bud) Muladore.

She is survived by her of children, Gail (Curtis) Miller of Marysville, Pete (Caren) Hall of Springfield, Justin (Stephanie) Muladore of Sabina, Marquita (Rick) Ebright of Englewood, 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.  Verda also counted these family members as her “adopted” children: Sandra Locher (Wilmington, OH), Angie Howard (Goshen, OH), Faith Kenney (Richmond, VA), Tom Hall (Wilmington, OH) & Matt Hall (Miamisburg, OH).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ohio Hospice @ www.OhioHospice.org.
