Violet “Vi” Piatt, age 89, of Sabina, passed away Wednesday morning, November 2, 2016, at Court House Manor.
She was born June 14, 1927, in West Union, the daughter of Leslie and Nelle E. Shelton Scott.
She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel “Andy” L. Piatt on January 3, 2001.
Vi was well known for her massages at area doctor’s offices, Clinton Memorial Hospital and at nearly every blood drive.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Joe) Goodbar of Clifton and Carl (Nancy) Piatt of Sabina. Also surviving are grandchildren: Justin Piatt and Rodney Wayne Ping; several great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
Vi was preceded by siblings, Mildred and John.
A memorial service will be on Monday at 2:00 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina and friends may call from 1:00 until the time of service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Sabina Cemetery.
