Virginia Ann Watson, age 87, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Born on January 30, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Burrell W. and Ethel Mae Johnson Watson.
Ginny was a devoted mother to her three sons. She worked as a supervisor for many years in a brake factory. A hard worker, Ginny enjoyed relaxing in her time off and attending various community events.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Neal (Lucy) Flint of Sabina, Mike (Rhonda Ray) Flint of Wilmington, and Tim (Tammy) Flint of Morrow. Ginny is also survived by grandchildren: Nikki (Shawn) Zielinski, Wesley (Jami) Flint, Olivia Brown, Monica (Cory) Becker, Stacy (Dave) Emerson, Kylee Flint, Eric (Samantha) Clark, and Damon (Kennedy) Cowley; great-grandchildren: Mikaela Freeman, Pepper Jordan, Ayla, Adalynn and Jamison Flint, Gavin, Garrett, Alice and Alyssa Brown, Parker Becker, Mackenzie (Drew Surritt) Miller, Rylee and Shaylynne Clark, Lincoln and Lillyanna Cowley; great-great grandchildren: Myra, Jasper, Payden, and Barrett; and sister, Janet Phillips.
Ginny was preceded in death by brothers: Ben Watson, John Watson, Roy Watson, Freddy Watson, Dale Watson, and Joe Watson.
There will be no services. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
