Wilbe “Jack” Tagg Jr. , 76, of Sabina, passed away on Saturday morning, October 29, 2016 after a very short and unexpected illness.
Jack was born June 15, 1940 in Pricetown, the son of Wilbe Sr. and Minnie Taylor Tagg.
He is survived by his wife Mary Groves Tagg whom he married May 21, 1962.
Jack retired from Mac Tools and previously worked at National Gear and Irwin Auger Bit where he was a quality control supervisor for all three businesses. He was well known for being the host of “Jacks Country Jam” where many musicians met and entertained many folks. He also enjoyed playing local and regional civic events.
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his children, Tracy and Sandy Tagg both of Sabina. Also surviving are grandchildren, Cassie Tagg and Mara (James) Taylor; great grandchildren, Jace and Jacob Wilbe Taylor; a sister Violet Dawson and his beloved dogs, Angel and Lucky.
Jack was preceded by siblings, Glenn, Wayne and Jim.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. A funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sabina Cemetery. Mary and the family would really appreciate any contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
