William C. “Bill” Wical, age 86, of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday morning, March 25, 2017 at Autumn Years Nursing Home in Sabina.
Born January 31, 1931 in Lumberton, Bill was the son of Wilbur A. and Clara Mae Curtis Wical.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Beulah Maynard Bailey Wical and second wife, Leah Davis-Wical. He served in the US Army in Korea and retired from Clinton Landmark after 55 years.
He was a charter member of Wilmington Bible Baptist Church.
Bill is survived by his children, Jack (Vicki) Bailey of Springfield; Sue (John) Ringer of Wilmington; Bill (Alice) Wical of Sabina; Jim (Melissa) Wical of Greenfield and Sandy McCarren of Pittsburgh. Also left to cherish his memory are 16 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; siblings: Velda Mitchell of Washington C.H.; Herb (Anna) Wical of Sabina; and Glen (Mary) Wical of Hillsboro.
He was preceded in death by children; Linda Scarberry and Terry Bailey; three grandchildren; and siblings: Lawrence, Mildred, Mary Ann, Edna, Roger and Robert Dale.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, friends may call from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in the Clinton Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Autumn Years Nursing Center, Community Care Hospice or Wilmington Bible Baptist Church.
