Alec J. Pollock

Alec J. Pollock, age 55, of Sabina, passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. 

Born September 14, 1967, he was the son of the late Eldon M. and June G. (Wright) Pollock.  

Alec was employed, for over a decade, at Littleton Funeral Home. He formerly worked at MAC Tool, and, later, worked for Ben Mercer at West Side. 

Alec had a knack for detail and took great pride in detailing cars on the side.  Muscle cars, race cars, clean cars...Alec enjoyed checking out anything on wheels and the occasional trip to Kilcare.  He was a collector of anything he deemed “cool” and never turned down a trip to the flea market. From salt and pepper shakers to vintage memorabilia and tools, Alec found a place for it at home. Known to be seen traversing Sabina on foot, Alec would stop and chat with anyone and help others in any way he could. Any and every dog that crossed paths with him would have a lifelong friend…Alec loved dogs more than he loved people most of the time, even the “mean ones”. 

He is survived by a host of friends who will miss his witty attitude and funny stories. 

In keeping with his wishes and aversion of public gatherings, there will be no formal services. Those wishing to celebrate Alec’s life should do so by cracking a cold beer with friends.
