Bonnie Sue (McKibben) Thompson

Bonnie Sue Thompson, age 51, of South Salem, passed peacefully, into the hands of the Lord on Saturday, September 25, 2021. 

Born in Chillicothe on September 7, 1970, she was the daughter of the late James B. McKibben and Ruth McKibben of Bainbridge. 

On December 10, 1988, Bonnie married the love of her life, James M. Thompson.  Unexpectedly, James passed on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.  The couple of nearly 33 years are now happily reunited in Heaven. 

Bonnie was a Paint Valley High School graduate.  She was a devoted homemaker and loved listening to music, cooking and hosting her brother Ralph and sister in-law Debbie for Saturday night get togethers, reading her Bible, watching Christmas movies, and Rod Parsley.  Bonnie was happiest spending time with her cherished family. 

Bonnie is survived by lights of her life, her sons: Cody James, and his wife Kayla, Thompson, Cory Michael Thompson, and Noah Christopher Thompson and her beloved grandson, Remington.  In addition to her mother, also left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Mary Keeton, Ralph (Debbie) McKibben, and Joe McKibben, along with nieces and nephews. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father and two nephews. 

Due to the unforeseen passing of both Bonnie and James, memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, are welcome to Littleton Funeral Home to aid in final expenses. 

A graveside service, for both Bonnie and James, will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 1, 2021 at South Salem Cemetery.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
