Donald J. Brown Sr.

Donald J. Brown Sr., 72 of New Vienna, passed away at his home on Saturday evening, December 26, 2020.

Born in Blue Creek, Ohio on February 20, 1948, he was the son of Bryan Brown and Alice Lucille Kidder May.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy S. Kreischer Brown.  The two were united in marriage on April 6, 1967.

Don had retired from East Clinton Schools and previously worked at the Sinclair Glass Company, was a plumber with Leon Bowman and farmer with Carl Custis Jr. He had also been a volunteer fireman with the Sabina Fire Dept. Donnie enjoyed woodworking, bird watching and collecting, also loved music, especially playing the banjo and guitar.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by children: Tammy (John Ferguson) Brown, Candy (Jim) Cole and Mark Brown. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Blair and Hannah Baker, Kayla Slone, Ryan Cole, Rozanna Brown and Jayden Brown; great Grandchildren: Jordan, Wyatt, Haley, Owen Aurora, Maisie and Leo; and his brother, Larry Cotton.

Don was preceded by son, Donald Brown Jr. and sister, Carolyn Peelle.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, from 4:00 until 7:00pm. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, at 1:30pm, at the Funeral Home.  Burial to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
