Douglas H. Cooper

Douglas H. Cooper, age 60, of Washington Court House, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Born in Jamestown on April 22, 1962, he was the son of the late James O. and Maxine (Rhinehart) Cooper.

Doug retired as a foreman for Nelson Tree Service.  He loved to fish and spend time outdoors.

Doug is survived by his wife, Sandra Whitley Cooper.  Also left to cherish his memory are children: Tonda Reed and Travis Reed, both of Washington Court House; grandchildren: Madison Felter, Kiara Reed, Kaydince Reed, Knoxx Reed and Maxton Brill; along with siblings: Shirley Wilson, Linda Sanderson, Tina Cooper, Tracey Cooper and Daniel Cooper.

In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by a brother, James Cooper.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 12-1pm, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery.
