Galen Stethem Obituary

Galen D. Stethem, age 71, of Sabina, passed away on Tuesday evening, January 24, 2023. 

Born June 28, 1951, in Fayette County, the son of Glenn and Mary Louise Liming Stethem.

Galen is survived by his wife, Bonnie Washburn Stethem.

After high school, he joined the Navy and, later, retired from Ferno-Washington, after 39 years, and then retired from Airborne. In his retirement, Galen enjoyed many things including computer games and puzzles.

 In addition to his wife, Galen is also survived by his children: Greg Stethem, Kimberly Brown, Betty Raith and Tony Todd. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Andrew (Cierra) Brown, Alisha (Dusty) Boyd, Megan, Molly and Savannah Todd and Zelinda Callahan; one great grandchild, DJ Boyd; siblings: sister, Marsha Rueger, and her children; Melissa (Adam) Boysel and Jay (Jen) Rueger; and brother, Gordon (Brenda) Stethem; and an aunt, Janice Liming.

Galen was preceded in death by his parents and aunts, Wilma Faulkner and Frances Bowen, and uncles, Albert, Robert, Howard, Frank and Joe Liming.

Visitation will be on Tuesday January 31, 2023, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Clarksville Cemetery,
