Linda J (Haskell) Cox

Linda J. Cox, age 70, of Washington Court House, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, January 18, 2020. 

Born in Florence, KY, on March 8, 1949, the daughter of the late Paul and Lucille Scherder Haskell. 

Linda attended Notre Dame Academy High School.  She worked in Human Resources at ADP in Cincinnati, and for 10 years at Lowes.  Linda later retired from the Haines Agency in Sabina, where she worked as the Office Manager.

Linda leaves behind her husband, Larry Cox.  The two were united in marriage on June 20, 2003. 

Also left to cherish her memory are children: Brenda Decker of Alexandria, KY, Brian (Marie Smith) Decker of Burlington, KY, Sheri (Rod) Murphy of Washington Court House, and Greg (Amy Potter) Cox of Jeffersonville.  Linda is also survived by grandchildren: Buffy and Zach Murphy, Allie, Mady, and Harper Cox; brothers: Allen (Peggy) Haskell of Edgewood, KY and Louis (Linda Magoto) Haskell of Dublin, OH; and beloved dogs: Molly, Ruby and Billy. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Mary Catholic Church (8246 E. Main Street, Alexandria, KY 41001), on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 10:30am.  Friends may visit from 9:30am until the time of the service with a luncheon to follow. 

On Monday, January 27, 2020, at 11am, a Memorial Mass will be held at St Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church (219 S. North Street, Washington Court House, OH 43160).  Friends may call one hour prior to the service with a luncheon to follow. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Fayette County (222 N Oakland Ave, Washington Court House, OH 43160). 

Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
