Lorraine Boyer, age 87, of Jamestown, passed away at home on Monday, January 18, 2021.
Born June 7, 1933, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lucy ‘Minyard’ Baker.
Lorraine is survived by her beloved husband, of over 65 years, Roger Boyer. The two were united in marriage on September 17, 1955.
Lorraine attended Bowersville United Methodist Church and Jamestown Presbyterian. A devoted homemaker, she loved to bake, do crafts and make baby quilts.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Linda and Jim Fliehman, and daughter in-law, Judy Boyer. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Sean (Kim) Fliehman, Brian (Stephanie) Fliehman, Aaron Fliehnman, Ben (Melissa) Boyer, Nate (Mandi) Boyer, Joe (Brooke) Boyer, Esther (Seth) Garret, Elizabeth (Lacoy) Allen, James F. Noomi, and Joshua Boyer; greatgrandchildren: Lily, Amelia, Violet, Conner, Daphne, Maddie, Sylvie, and Elijah; along with brothers: Carlos Baker, Charles Baker, and Delano Baker.
In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Boyer, and siblings: Robert Baker, Joyce Begley, and Kurt Baker.
Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Ohio’s Hospice.
A public graveside will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowersville, on Saturday January 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
