Noel Brown Obituary

Noel E. Brown Jr., age 76, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday morning, September 20, 2021, at Bethesda North Hospital.

Born November 2, 1944, in Columbus, the son of the late Noel E. Brown Sr. and Dorothy Glover Brown, and his step-mother Della Horney Brown.

Junior is survived by his wife Shirley Ball Brown.  The two were united in marriage on February 12, 1965.

He was a graduate of Greenview High School and retired from Hood Packaging. Junior was a past member of the Clinton County Antique Power Club and the Wilson Grange.

In addition to his wife, Junior is survived by his children: Jeffery (Michelle), Timothy (Sheri) and Bryan (Melissa) Brown; grandchildren: Jeffery (Jennifer) Brown, Vanessa (Brandon) Davis, Jordan (Andy Macey) Brown, Beth (Christian Papenaude) Skaggs, Reese Brown, Trenton Brown, Christopher (Beth) Skaggs and Cody (Darla) Skaggs; along with 13 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Other survivors include siblings: Karen Sue (Harry) Hawkins, Brenda Kay (Rusty) Coe and Robert Kirk; sisters-in-law: Linda (Roger dec.) Barnhart and Kim (Jeff) Myers; several nieces and nephews; many special friends, including a lifelong childhood friend, Roger Martin. 

Noel was also preceded in death by his in-laws, Millard and Ruth Ball; and his beloved dog, Sheba Marie.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Shriners Hospital in Cincinnati.  

Visitation will be on Friday September 24, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville.
