Norma L. (Marsh) Soale

Norma Louise Marsh Soale, age 90, of Sabina, passed peacefully at Hospice of Dayton, on Sunday, October 17, 2021.

Born in Sabina on February 14, 1931, she was the daughter of Edgar W. and Mildred Irene Morrow Marsh. 

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Harold ‘Ike’ Soale, who passed in 1982. 

A 1949 Sabina High School graduate, Norma worked as a bookkeeper and worked for Foster’s Department Store, Farley Hardware, the Sabina Utility Department and the Sabina Bank.  Later, she worked at the Sabina Library and at Once and Again Consignments.  She was a member of the Sabina Alumni Association and previously attended the Grace Methodist Church in Washington Court House and was a member of the Sabina United Methodist Church. 

Norma is survived by her two sons: Kris Soale and Carey Soale, both of Sabina.  Additionally, she is survived by two grandsons: Steven Soale and Isaac Soale, and brother: Eldon W. Marsh of Universal City, TX. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by sisters: Wanda McMillian and Joann Evans; and brother, John Marsh. 

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Hospice of Dayton.  

Friends may call at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 10-11am, when there will be a procession to Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek, for a graveside service.
