Robert Johnson Jr. Obituary

Robert Dale Johnson Jr. 72, of Sabina, passed away on June 21, 2019. Robert was born on September 20, 1946 in Cincinnati, the son of Betty Lee and Robert Johnson Sr. He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, whom he married August 10, 1968. He is a 1964 graduate of Sabina High School and served honorably for 30 years with the Air Force Reserves. He also worked for Air Force Civil Service and Airborne Express. He enjoyed building models and trains, wood working and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his children; Brian (Katina) Johnson of Greenville, Cheryl (Jason) Davis of Powhatan, Virginia and Robert III (Cassie) Johnson of Hillsboro. Grandchildren; Ryland, Jackson, Lillian, Owen, Madison, Elizabeth, Jacob and Jared; siblings; Carol Grooms, Gloria Bender and Charles Johnson; sisters in law; Peggy Pauley, Lori Turner and Sharon Grooms. And numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Debbie. The family will receive friends on Monday June 24, 2019 from 5-7 pm at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral will be held on Tuesday at Noon. Graveside services will be held at the Sabina Cemetery.
